Six Sigma is Kim Berry's California based solo project. With 'Detente' he has created a 20 minute five song EP densely layered with electronic beats, and riddled with media samples that give a whole new face to the prime time news. Through these fragmented voices you can definitely sense a message that is trying to be conveyed, such as the last words on the disk "this is a very tough world". But even without these interesting media fragments, the music would easily hold it's own. Highly danceable rhythms are seemlessly melded with electronic melodies, that are evidence of Berry's musical experience.
