Steve Tipaldi - Suicide August 30, 2004

After seven years of his children growing up with zero contact, $80,000 in legal fees, an appeal that remanded for more of the same, an order to pay $10,000 in opponents fees on remand, and the continuation of a restraining order with no basis in fact, Steve had enough... If the remand had simply directed all parties (parents and children) into mediation and granted him even supervised contact with his children, Steve would likely be walking the Earth today.

The State had no probable cause to keep Steve away from his kids. The State ordered a psych eval which found in Steve's favor, then the State rejected the finding because the evaluator had not read every page of the 10 inch record. (my recollection of a fact.)
