The UNR Planetarium was constructed in 1963 when I was in kindergarten. We lived across the street from it. Below are current photos of the front and back. The south-facing windows were designed to provide solar heating. Inside the glass are panels that rotate to display as black or white, depending on whether heat should be absorbed or reflected out. Around 1968 Ed gave some of the presentations in the night-sky theater.
