Stop at the Gilroy Visitors Bureau to get discount tickets ($25)
At the rest area on the return drive on I-5 we saw this boat in the parking lot, which was headed for Washington for a race. While taking a photo we were greeted by Richard Alysworth, Team Manager (he took this photo for us), who explained that the jet engine alone costs $125,000, and it goes over 200 mph. Have you ever wished you could have a theme park all to yourself? That was nearly the case for us. We were allowed to ride the main adult attractions multiple times without even having to leave and get back in line. (It was a Monday, but even weekends are not too crowded.)
