For Father's Day 2009 we went to Folsom Lake. Our plan was to rent a jet-ski for a few hours and take turns. But the jet-ski rental was not opened, and a boat rental only had two boats left, so we rented a Four Winns Horizon 190/LE for the day from Folsom Lake Boat Rentals at Granite Bay. The engine was a 5.0 V8 Volvo Penta, and very quiet - unlike most power boats I remember.

The rental agent recommended that we go up the north fork in the morning and then up the south fork in the afternoon.
