Misc photos from 2009

Stephanie's first BevMo wine tasting, June 20, 2009, with Shawn and Kim

A lady brought several wines up that she wanted to try before buying a case (on the back ledge) and she allowed us to taste them too.

Kim on his Yamaha

Stereo Realist viewer - used by my grandparents in the 1950s through 1970s to take stunning stereo photos.
The camera was invented by Seton Rochwite. See this page for his history and some samples.

I will be creating stereo images at www.kimberry.com/3D/

Here's Seton  in his workshop in Loveland, Colorado, making part of the polarizer attachment for the Stereo Realist camera.
Relax your eyes to see the stereo image:

Here's another - a bit harder to view since it is wider than our eye distance - but worth a try!

It would be nice to get our grandparents stereo photos onto the web - I'm not sure how to do that.

While on topic of grandparents. This was my grandfather's favorite chair. My grandmother ordered it for him around 1950 after he sprained his back from stretching to reach items on the shelf of Berry Pharmacy at 35th and Broadway in Sacramento.

At the Cal Expo State Fair I saw a vendor selling personal saunas for about $1700. I was able to find one for $850 used on CraigsList, so I bought it. It's really nice. Now I'm looking forward to the cold weather. One source for this model is www.qualitysaunawarehouse.com

In August I caulked then touched up the paint on the house preparing for winter

Here is after the painting. (I was amazed OSH was able to exactly match the gray paint from a chip i brought in.)
